Welcome to your child’s senior year!

A year from now you will be busy packing your child for college! Until then, you should enjoy what will be one of the most memorable years of your child’s life. The PHS GradNite 2010 Committee has already begun work planning and dreaming of ways to make your child’s GradNite experience the culminating event of their senior year, a night they will never forget and always cherish.

GradNite is a drug and alcohol free event held annually at PHS for ALL graduating seniors. Nearly 95% of PHS graduates attend this all-night celebration following graduation.  At GradNite, the food is abundant, the games are big, the music is blaring, the prizes are many, the laughter is contagious, and wonderful memories are made each and every moment.   

Why do we do this?  Studies have shown that post-graduation events such as GradNite save lives by providing a fun, cool and safe alternative. This is not just a celebration; it‘s a safety device.  A group of dedicated parents work tirelessly (and clandestinely) all year long in hopes of enticing each and every graduate to their very own special and spectacular GradNite!  We can’t, however, do this alone. Each year, local businesses and community organizations generously support GradNite.  Their financial contributions, however, generally account for less than half of the $25,000cash needed for this event.  We must depend on you, the seniors’ parents, for the remainder of the needed funds.  This is one investment opportunity you will not regret.  Please consider making a tax-deductible contribution of $50 or more to GradNite 2010.  Many of our plans require deposits and partial payments earlyso we ask that you send in your gift today.  Every dollar helps!  Please send all donations to PHS GradNite at

 One of the other memories that GradNite creates is an individualized photo keepsake of each graduate. We’ll need 50 to 75 photos to create your graduate’s special montage so start perusing those photo albums and picture CDs now.
